Longmont Economic Development Partnership Appoints Kelly Sage as President and CEO

Longmont, CO — May 28, 2025 — The Longmont Economic Development Partnership (LEDP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Sage as its new president and CEO. A highly respected leader in Colorado’s economic development landscape, Sage brings over two decades of transformative experience in industry relations, communications strategy, and regional economic growth.

Sage has held executive roles with the City of Loveland, Warehouse Business Accelerator, NOCO Economic Development Corporation, and Innosphere. Her leadership has helped shape Northern Colorado’s innovation ecosystem, business climate, and workforce development strategies.

Sage’s resume includes managing over $3.3 billion in capital investment prospects in 2023 alone, developing industry cluster initiatives, and leading complex, interdepartmental strategic programs. She has worked with stakeholders ranging from NASA technologists and state officials to C-level executives and entrepreneurs, building consensus and actionable strategies that have driven real results.

A graduate of Colorado State University, Sage holds certifications in Economic Development Finance and Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma. She was named one of BizWest’s 50 Most Influential People in Northern Colorado in 2023 and has earned multiple leadership honors throughout her career.
