Economic Development Partnership (Longmont EDP) will be hosting its annual Advance Longmont Economic Summit on February 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Longmont Museum. The summit is called “Powering the Future: Navigating Economic Trends,” and it will highlight insights from experts into Colorado’s emerging technologies and business trends.

Longmont EDP is a nonprofit focused on supporting businesses and building a strong economic ecosystem in Longmont.

The summit will feature eight guest speakers who will discuss the state of industry in Longmont, demographic trends, and Colorado’s economic forecast. Speakers include Colorado State Demographer Kate Watkins, Longmont EDP President and CEO Erin Fosdick, and St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Assistant Superintendent of Innovation Joe McBreen.

In addition to presentations from guest speakers, attendees will also have opportunities to network with speakers and other participants and share ideas.

“The Advance Longmont Economic Summit is more than just a discussion about trends — it’s a roadmap for businesses navigating the future,” said Cameron Grant, Longmont EDP board chair and head of the real estate team at the Lyons Gaddis law firm. “This event brings together thought leaders, industry experts, and community stakeholders to explore the forces shaping our economy and uncover opportunities for growth.”
