Align Sciences Awarded Innovate Longmont Grant

Longmont, Colo.: Innovate Longmont awarded Align Sciences a $25,000 grant as part the Innovate Longmont Innovate Fund created by the Longmont Community Foundation to help early stage startups in Longmont.

“Longmont community foundation is proud to support opportunity and enterprise through the innovate Longmont fund.  Align sciences is a perfect fit for the intentions of this fund and we look forward to hearing of their progress,” said Eric Hozempa, Executive Director of the Longmont Community Foundation.

Align Sciences, located at 420 21st Ave, Longmont, CO, 80501, is a new Longmont-based startup developing innovative technology in the OLED industry.

“The Innovate Longmont program was instrumental in getting Align Sciences off the ground. Without the resources it provided access to, I would never have been able to secure a 1-year runway,” said Shakeel Dalal, CEO and Founder of Align Sciences.

“While the $25,000 grant will be invaluable over the next year, the connections that it has provided to the Longmont community will probably be even more important in the long run.”
